Does a 5 mile-ish walk along the ocean during Autumn sound intriguing? It did to Lea and I also. What if it was in Australia and went through towns called Coogee, Bronte and Bondi? Even better, right?
We set out mid-afternoon so we could witness the sun setting during our hike. The beaches were immaculate, the air crisp and the sights breathtaking.
We passed tourists, runners, dog walkers, families and lots of smiles. The temperature was cool but the walk kept us warm. The sun provided the perfect light.
The waves crashed against rocks. The sun slowly changed the light to present new scenery. The walk winded around and up and down, so each new path was an adventure.
We arrived in Bondi just as the sun was going down. Unforgettable.
Here are more photos of the walk and Sydney. Or just ask Lea – she’ll concur.
